The Trip
So I went to Presentation Media primarily to meet Nathan Nielson, the point man for the company. I was very impressed with their facilities. Here are some photograph from the trip with commentary:



Their offices are very nice, no clutter, which is always a good sign!



Here’s an example of the exterior of a small tire (1.75” in diameter,) printed with a “Binder Jetting 3D Printer,” also known as a powder bed and inkjet head 3D Printer. This 3D Printer is Project® 660PRO by 3D Systems…



Here’s an example of the interior the tire (1.75” in diameter.) This printer can print in colors!…



The axle assembly also printer with theProject® 660PRO. The entire assembly was printed - and with all the different colors, in on shot…

And here’s the cause of all those amazing prints: the POJECT® 3510 HD by 3D Systems…

This is the PROJECT FINISHER: a small oven that melts the support material wit affecting the printed parts…



For extra-cleaning, the parts are submerged into a ultrasonic bath which gets rid of all extra particles of the support material…



One of their latest weapons in their arsenal: the FUEL3D Scanner…



Apart from traditional 2D-printing facilities, Presentation Media has a large Laser-cutter and a 8 feet by 4 feet CNC machine for low to high-density foams!
